Tears Are Also Prayers
Tears carve stone,
Yet weigh like air,
Flames of loss or joy ignite;
Knees to dust,
Hands in prayer,
Sweat and dreams, in scars we write.
Silent thunders,
Shadow’s trace;
Burdened eyes, unchained flight;
Each fall screams,
Each rise hums,
Fate bleeds loud, the soul succumbs.
