Teach My Hands To Write

David prayed to my Lord, saying,
Teach my hands to fight...
And many a battle did he conquer.

And now I pray to you Lord, crying,
Teach my hands to write.
For the pen is mightier than the sword.

For many past and raging wars,
Would have been conquered without swords
Had the weapons of words been employed.

For they overcome him, not
By the blood of the Lamb only,
But by the Words of their testimony.

And there was a little city
With a poor man who by his Words
Of wisdom, delivered the city from war.

So give me the sword of the spirit
Which is your mighty Word oh God
That I may conquer with your Word.

For David prayed to you lord, saying,
Teach my hands to fight...
And many a battle he did conquer.

And now I pray to you my Lord, crying,
Teach my feeble hands to write that I
May conquer kingdoms in black and white.
