Isolation Charms

Charming smile hiding
the day's ordeals
The sky cries
leaving the clouds chilly
hairs wrapped to the skin
Blood freezes to ice
The bones suffers more
Faded Reflections revealing
a heart laddened with weight

Surely the sun shines
Yet shadow looms dark corners
Light in war with darkness
Each has 12hours
to leave their mark
These days darkness tarries
pretending to be the light

Long for a long drive
along the shores of dreams
For all the castles built
on air crashes sinking
beneath the earth
Relinquish self of pity
and soul's isolation
