Little Desire

A solitary beauty stood by my window pane,
with its vibrant colours and elegant beauty,
set a feast for many passing eyes!
Few butterflies, bees nestle on it with peace,
still stands the beauty with an ease,
It welcomes the unknown guest with a smile,
It sees them fly beyond a mile,
when the moonlight took away the dark night,
with agony of its own the solitary beauty,
withered from where it was born,
It never knew life was too short, yet,
it gave the best as it can with a pride,
As,I stare through the window pane,
my inner voice question me,
can't you live a life like this little flower,
with a deep sigh,I nod my head, I will try my best...
