This Is My Valediction

I need stitches to stitch my heart
because the harpist to my happiness
plucks the strings of another

many times I have hidden in my cave
but it's now a grave
I have become a drowning man in this
whirlpool of feelings and my heart is an
empty broken vase that needs filling
but all I fill and feel brings a hurting void

Tears roll down my cheeks like rain drops
on a glass window each time I think of the
unfortunate event that befell me
to long for you and you to long for another
to want your attention and you to want anothers

I thought I could just handle being friends with you but I have reached the precipice and I need peace.
so before I take my heart apart and tell you how I feel then we imperceptibly become strangers
This is my Valediction!
