Christmas Mischief In Serious Times.

What a year!
But we’re still here
At least two metres apart!
The benefit of this, of course
Is when turkey makes one fart!!!
The distance will of course enhance
The breathing of fresh air
So remember covid and maintain this stance
You’re so much safer there.

The Christmas trees were here so soon.
The decorations too.
The lights were twinkling all around
To cheer up me and you.
Our friends were seen by means of Zoom,
Or Skype, on all those screens,
But through all this we won’t forget
What Christmas really means.
