Home Sweet Home

A dark green pasture,
Dangerous as it seems.
A boy behind a flock...
You're headed home.

A small pit pond...
Brown dirty water in.
Feeds the donkey and the cow;
Ahead is home.

Three round mud huts...
Seven dirty kids.
A marula tree by the gate:
Left is home.

A black black pot...
Three black stones under.
Inside is thin porridge;
That is home.

A beautiful lass...
Cherry lips and dark beauty.
Silky skin and a sweet soft voice...

Welcome home:
Home sweet home.
