A Drop Of Gold

A golden cloud wandered in Waycross Georgia,
It wandered lonely in the sunset skies.
And I remember we were told;
Soon it will rain a drop of gold.

All the cloud it wandered high,
Above Tiger Mountain and Miller's Cave.
And I was there and I was told;
Soon it will rain a drop of gold.

And such was life in Waycross Georgia,
Such was life when soon we were wet...
A honey dew we all drank and ate;
And I was one of the children told;
We all must taste our drop of gold.
