Moxie In The Dark

Sacred the oath we swore,
Swith love I wore,
On hills my love bellowed,
Loud, yet not your heart followed.

The menacles as free as independence,
Yanking my misjudged essence,
Termless lingered that night,
Trite in that beamless nook.

It's over, raged my festered voice,
Stealth in his caprice whispered he, "divorce",
But morning light remission with it brought,
Blinded by a seamless torrent

To him I mumbled, "she is not the enemy!"
And away angel black roamed.
