Hard Days Fly Away

Dejection in life
Makes me more reflective
I feel relieved
As poetry turns effective
In the deep gloom
Engulfing all my happiness
With no blooms
In my utter hopelessness.

Hard days fly away
With the passage of time
Good days do stay
With my thoughts sublime
In a renewed mood
Pushing cluttered sorrows
That finally recede
With succeeding tomorrows.
