A Beautiful Night

A BEAUTIFUL NIGHT

A beautiful night as beautiful as a singing bird
The moon looking through my window in a silver dress
Shining down its silvery light
Fireflies dancing like stars in the sky

Quiet like a grave, I stared with bliss
As I observed, nothing escaped my eagle eye
For a moment I thought I was in the sky
I have never seen such a beautiful sky

Cold and wind kisses my cheeks
Washed away my reasons to weep
My precious mind filled with blissful thoughts
I thank the lord for gifting me that night

Then, looking down through the window at the dancing trees
Smiling with glee, so beautiful to see
Empty streets, the best place I would rather be
For there, I would dance like a bee

Background music which was silence
Beautiful music, filled my tank with hopes
Is this for real? Was I not dreaming?
If yes, then I really enjoyed that dream.
