A Poem

A poem should be heard,

like a lover's smile.

A poem should be seen,

like an eagle in the sky

A poem should be felt,

like a bed bug's bite.

A poem should be tasted,

like a candy on the tongue

A poem should be smelt,

like an air in the spring.

A poem should stay,

For a time in your minds.

And poem, If good enough—
Forever in your thoughts.
