Am Black

Am Black
Guns roar and I shout
Am black.
Dogs bark on my heel
Am black.
Trampled on like dust
Am black.
Bones made of steel
Am black.
Drums echo in my ear
Am black.
Singing songs of joy
Am black.
Glory feels so near
Am black.
Feet thumping the floor
Am black.
Fogs, out of my way!
Am black.
Spreading my wings to fly
Am black.
Going so far way
Am black.
Far way into the sky
Am black.
Sun, shine on my back
Am black.
Friends, cheer me on my flight
Am black.
Waving my beautiful flag
Am black.
Hands on my chest
Am black.
