Heart's Inability To Speak
Love is overcome by sleep,
It is unable to walk.
Ga le na mafolofolo, le a tswafa,
It has no enthusiasm, it is lazy.
It does not want to love,
It is burdened by a heavy body.
The StillnessIt moves slowly,
Completely lifeless, go se tšhikinyege.
Ga le na taba le selo,
It does not care about anything.
It breathes an uninspired breath,
Le hloka moya—it lacks spirit,
Le amogela fela,
It just accepts things as they are
The fracture and my mind is a fragmented thought,
O arogane gare—it is split down the middle.
Ga o kwagale,
le gona o a kganatla,
It makes no sense,
and it hesitates.
O a ema morago ga go tšea nako,
It stops after taking some time.
The Stumble ke a stutterer,
Stopping and going forward.
Ke kgatla leleme—I am tripping over my tongue,
Flowing with a repetition of speech that is not clear.
It is a running stream hitting a wall,
Mo go kgaogilego—interrupted,
and entirely broken
