Forest

In the deep thick forest,
Away from the city bustle.
I could hear a melodious tune,
Of a cuckoo bird singing.

It was a serene feeling,
To hear the cuckoo’s cooing.
Gave a feeling of wonderment,
To experience this nature’s music.

I was feeling blessed,
To hear nature’s symphony.
In the daily grind,
Which is lost to mankind.

These natural notes,
Sound lyrical and tuneful.
Provide peace and tranquility,
To the tired mind and soul.
