By The Door-broken
Come stand outside my door tonight,
And look at what you’ve done
The quiet cracks beneath my skin,
The dark that once was the sun.
See what you broke inside of me,
A heart that loved you true,
A love so deep, so full, so loud
It meant so little to you.
Watch how much you meant to me,
In every silent scream,
In pieces scattered on the floor,
In fragments of a dream.
Come closer n see the damage now,
The ruin you designed,
The shattered hopes, the hollow chest,
The chaos in my mind.
Come see the pain you left behind,
The weight I cannot hide,
The suffocation in my breath,
The tears I hold inside.
Or stay—and watch me fall apart,
And hear how loud I cry,
As I sit broken by the door
Anum, shattered on the floor,
The echo of a love no more.

Poet's note: I am going through a break up. He betrayed the very thing I was proud of in the relationship
