The Dreadful Holidays

Holidays were close to one's hearts
A way of spending time with dear ones
Remembering of a working day
Goes into flashback mesmerising holidays
Reacted as if working was a waste
Cried to get rid of this regular haste
Thinking of relaxing holidays
Each day a happy day
Chanted in the week days
Now each freezed at homes
Eager to melt the ice
And race to the roads
Imagine holding bags with their happy faces
Running to work with new vigour
Dream breaks again peeping out of window
Waiting for ones to come out for the roads to glow
Like old times.....
