A Harmful Leaf

In the tangled web of leaves, a hazardous allure,
They claim it satisfies pleasures, but a dark lume, with no cure,
The youths, adults bask in the fume,
Less pure,
Societies griev, bitter to endure.

Leads it victims to the depth ground,
with no heart beat, no sound,
looking for trouble and trouble they found,
They feel relaxed near a death lounge.

Promises gold, but eats the victim whole,
It spreads like snow, and turns the heart cold,
A substance small but bold,
Youths and adults captivated by its hold.
