In The Silence: A Child’s Refuge
A small boy plays where silence reigns,
Among the stones, shadowed by pains.
No home, no laughter, no place to run—
The world outside has nowhere for fun.
Not there to pray, nor mourn the lost,
No tears for names the cold stones host.
He came to find a moment of peace,
A hidden corner where fears may cease.
Oh God, hear us, keep all children safe,
Protect their families, their homes, their space.
Let love and laughter fill every land,
And every heart hold its loved ones’ hand.
