Memories In Slumber

Your azure eyes stare my way
But your mind wanders and is adrift
Your graceful smile and your cat-like sway
Through the listless crowd you stir so swift
My senses misguide me, or so i think
Your simplicity had me in half a blink
But in the other half i got to see
That my mind stutters when you are the essence
So Walk, i walked and walked with glee
But my core and my usher suffer no confluence
Cos if to love is to lose ,and to gain ourselves
Then i am master and slave of my own making
On these leaves of memories now turned shelves
My once met love lay heavily, slumbering.
