Rahat Indori (Urdu: ڈاکٹر راحت اندوری ) (Hindi: डॉ. राहत इन्दोरी ) (born 1 January 1950) is one of the most acclaimed celebrity Urdu poet and a bollywood lyricist. Prior to this he was a pedagogist of Urdu literature at Indore University. Rahat Indori is very well known and loved amongst his millions of fans worldwide for his poetic brilliance and a very peculiar style of rendering ash'aars.
Early life and education
Rahat Qureshi, later known as Rahat Indori, was born on 01 January 1950 in Indore to Rafatullah Qureshi, a cloth mill worker, and his wife Maqbool Un Nisa Begum. He was their fourth child.
