Voices Beyond Borders

Voices Beyond Borders

I came into this world
not with a cry, but with a whisper,
a soft plea lost in a cacophony of chaos.
I was uprooted from my roots,
cast adrift in unfamiliar waters,
a refugee navigating an ocean of uncertainty.

Since the day I opened my eyes,
the world has turned its back,
viewing me through a lens of indifference.
Seasons have cycled, yet I stand still,
caught in the web of waiting,
longing for a promise that seems forever distant.

I have witnessed the storm of conflict,
its shadows etched deep within my spirit,
the haunting echoes of what once was.
Dreams slip through my fingers like sand,
while my voice is drowned in the noise,
silenced by the weight of invisible chains.

I live in the echo of injustice,
trapped in a cage built by others,
a prisoner of fate, with no key in sight.
But I still stand, even when the world looks away,
searching for cracks in this cycle,
yearning for something beyond this endless night.

Through the silence,
I cling to a flicker of hope—
not for what has been,
but for what might come.
For the day when borders no longer bind,
and I walk free, unmarked by suffering's chains.

I am not merely a victim of time,
I am a survivor, waiting for the dawn,
to rise from the ashes of this story,
and write a new chapter,
one that cannot be erased.
