What Color Are Real Humans?

Michael McGuire

Is there freedom in rebellion? Are the
causes and costs obtained at an equilibrium?
Dominating issues and trying to exercise
rights that never even existed?

Zebras in major cities have conflicting
ideas to which color they should be.
"It'll be this one or none at all," they
say to each other!

When we were children, black and white
were just crayons we almost never used in
our coloring activities because they held no
meaning in our rainbow-colored minds!

A King once wore his crown with great
influence over political prejudice before
it was sadly taken from his head and
stomped into the dust of sorrow!

A war between brothers was fought to
free the Crows so they could fly north
to escape the humid Summer of Slavery.

Instead, they found no paradise while
standing alone and humbly begged their
masters to let them come back home so
they could bathe their dusty wings in a
fountain of freedom while constricted!

The color of ALL blood is red and every
race has been a slave to another at least
once! So why can't we remember those cold
chains we once wore and evil whips
cracking our backs raw, while the crowds
gathered around, mocking us and laughing
at our tears?

Painful memories? Yes, but revenge is
not the answer in attempting to unite the
World as one people!

We can either stand together and mend our
severed wounds or become separate islands and
die in our own blood!

The choice is up to each and every one of us.
Please, let's make the right one.
