Those Days

Edith Nornubari

I remember those days
those days when you longed for me
those days when you needed me
those days when you misses me
those days when you won't let me rest
those days when you tried pleasing me, doing all your best.

I remember those days
those days when you come to see me everyday
those days when you were shy and never knew what to say
those days when you would never want to leave but stay
those days when it seems like for me, your life, you could lay

I remember those days
those days that I was your gain
those days when you shower me love like rain
those days you vowed never to cause me pain
those days that you desire us to chat again and again.

I remember those days
those days you could not stand my tears
those days when loosing me was your greatest fears
those days when my burdens you were ready to bear
those days when you call me sweetness and no longer dear
those days when you can't stay until my voice you hear.

What happened to these days?
these days that you are no longer bothered
these days that when I'm pain and threatens to leave, your heart is no longer chattered
these days that everyday it is either one problem or the other
these days that you no longer see me as a sister.

What happened to these days?
these days that you no longer love, miss me nor care
these days that you no longer see me as the woman whose kind is rare
these days that you no longer text, message or call
these days that those things I loved you do before, I now complain about all
these days that your feelings for me is now dwarf and no longer tall

I miss those days
I give up on these days
